Cole Sullivan is a Reporter at 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado.
Cole joined the 9NEWS team in June 2022 and can’t wait to tell the stories of Colorado.
Cole came to Denver from Knoxville, Tenn., where he worked as an investigative reporter at 9NEWS' sister station WBIR-TV.
Cole’s stories about misconduct within the Knoxville Police Department led to internal investigations and rebukes for top leadership. He uncovered abusive behavior at a youth prison, which led the state to cut ties with the prison operator. Cole spearheaded coverage of the coronavirus pandemic and coordinated station-wide Pride Month coverage.
Cole graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California where he studied Political Science and Business. He reported for the university’s daily news program and held internships at KNBC, NBC News and WXIA.
When he’s not reporting the news, you can find Cole soaking up the sun poolside or struggling to ski down Colorado’s magnificent slopes. He’s a die-hard fan of the TV show "Arrested Development" and spends way too much time on Twitter.
