AURORA, Colo. — A driver crashed into a building in Aurora Sunday afternoon, injuring three people and sending two of them to the hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
According to a release from Aurora Fire Rescue, the crash happened around 1:40 p.m. Sunday around Hampden Avenue and Uravan Way.
Aurora Fire Rescue said responders found two vehicles were involved in the crash.
Crews completed a rapid extrication and began treating three people for injuries, the release said. Two of those people were found to have serious and potentially life-threatening injuries. Those two were treated on scene and then taken to local emergency departments, Aurora Fire Rescue said.
The third person was treated and released on scene, the release said.
